The Molson St. John's Senior and Intermediate Men's Fastpitch Leagues have been notified/advised that the Metro Umpires Association will increase game fee rates for the 2012 to 2015 softball seasons.

Dear Executive of Molson St. John's Senior & Intermediate Men's Fastpitch Leagues;

This letter is to notify the leagues that the Metro Umpires Association will increase game fee rates for the 2012 to 2015 softball seasons. In comparison to all other sports, as well as other Umpiring Associations across Canada, the rates that are being used here are far lower in comparison. In negotiation of these rates, Metro Umpires has included the present rates as well as THREE options:

Level V

SUMMARY

Last increase in umpiring services took place in 2008 (4 Year Contract)
The new contract will be in place for 2012 – 2015 (4 Year Contract)
Next Review of Umpire Services will to take place for the 2016 Season
Option A: is approximately a $2600 increase to the yearly budget
Option C: is approximately a $1700 increase to the yearly budget
