Re: COVID-19 UPDATE

The Molson St. John's Senior & Intermediate Men's Fastpitch Leagues have been consulting with Softball NL and agreed to collectively work together on completing a COVID-19 Softball NL Return To Play Plan/Guidelines for the 2020 Season. The process was lengthy, but overall positive. As a result, Softball NL completed the COVID-19 Softball NL Return To Play Plan/Guidelines and submitted that document to Sport NL on Friday, May 29. Sport NL are in the process of reviewing the document and will be submitting to the Provincial Government on Wednesday, June 03.

As the Province moves towards the NL COVID-19 Alert Level 3 (Increase Re-Opening After Demonstrating Control Of COVID-19 Transmission) on June 08, we are anticipating further clarification/details on outdoors sports. A decision will be made once feedback from the Provincial Government has been received. Unfortunately at this time we are not in a position to release the specific information/details contained in the COVID-19 Softball NL Return To Play Plan/Guidelines out of respect for the process.
